It has been quite interesting getting signed up over at myspace.com/maudhudson. Garth is now signed up too at myspace.com/garthhudson. Please go check them out. This website is still home and will continue to develop. There are still big plalns for the FAMILY ROOM that will always be adapted for various holidays. Eventually it will be a functioning interactive place to visit.

Here is bit of background on two previously unheard songs at myspace.com/maudhudson:

"Don't Do It"
(This is downloadable)
I do the vocals. First weekend I ever tried this song. Fun. Garth is in control of the keyboard magic. Paul Rigby plays guitar here and with our band, The Best! He has been with Neko Case for years and is on tour with her now. Mike Sloski filled in on drums that weekend. Mike is the other half of a duo with Lance Anderson. Lance came out to London, Ontario to record our LIVE at the WOLF album. "Don't Do It" has nothing to do with that album. This is ruff LIVE audio taken from a digital video camera. December 2004 at the MacLaren Art Center in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. Small intimate venue for a food drive before Christmas:-)

"Mambo Daddy"
June 29, 2005. This concert had four names: River to River Festival, Hudson River Festival, and Garth Hudson on the Hudson (nicknamed Hudson on Hudson). "Mambo Daddy" is written by Tangoman, our wonderful guest male vocalist and friend. Please find his album, Mambo Daddy. It's great! This is Garth Hudson on all keyboards, Hammond B3, Yamaha grand piano, synthesizers, soprano saxophone, and accordion. Maud Hudson and Tangoman, vocals... with our band The Best! List of musicians: Paul Rigby, guitar... Marty Ballou, bass... Ernie Colon, drums... Marty Richards, drums... Tom Lopez, percussion... Lenny Pickett, Tenor Saxophone... Steve Elson, Baritone Saxophone... Earl Gardner, trumpet... and Erin Hill, harp.
